Öjebro old Kvarnby is an idyll that makes the visitor experience what it could look like in the picturesque village community. Your four-legged friends are also welcome. The house’s lower floor with kitchen and dining area, hall, living room with seating and dining table, the bathroom is next to the kitchen with WC and shower. The beautiful staircase leads you up to an open hall with sleeping alcove and another bed of 90 cm, next to it is the bedroom with a double bed. There is a wood stove and tiled stove preserved in the house, and the beautiful wooden floors are a delight to the eye. In Öjebro there is, among other things, an old stone arch bridge over Svartån from the 1700s and an electric mill that today is one of the village's museums. 500 meters away at Svartån there is a bathing area with jetty and bathing raft, here you can enjoy a dip in a beautiful environment. There are two canoes and fishing gear for those who want to take a trip and try their luck at fishing. There are also some life jackets. Note: low ceilings on both floors, max 193 cm. Torpet is in a good place as a starting point if you want to experience activities and experiences up close. The big city of Linköping 25 minutes away by car, experience shopping and good food with several restaurants along Stångån. For those interested in culture, a visit to the beautiful neighborhoods by the cathedral and Linköping Castle & Cathedral Museum is a must. In the middle of the city there is also the garden association, a city park with ponds and sports facilities as well as a greenhouse with a garden shop and a restaurant. Old Linköping, is the city quarter Valla gård and vallaskogen. Here you will find Linköping's largest playground, Lill-valla with mini golf courses, greet all the animals and take a ride with the tuff-tuff train that runs between Gamla Linköping and Valla. A little further away is the hangar which has a skate park and climbing walls. 10 km northwest from Linköping is the lock area called Bergs slussar, Göta Canal's largest lock staircase. Here you come to see boats that lock, eat good ice cream or rent a bike and take a cooling bath. On the way home, you can visit the Air Force Museum, a modern, cultural-historical museum. Vadstena 2 miles away, a creative history is an appreciated destination that welcomes many visitors. Here you find yourself in the middle of history, among castles, monasteries and medieval buildings.
