Description: This holiday cottage is located in the countryside, a few km south of Fengersfors in the beautiful landscape of Dalsland. The plot is situated on a height, here you can be by yourselves in peace and quiet with a nice view over forests and meadows. The fantastic nature in the surroundings has been featured in Astrid Lindgren's famous film "Ronja Rövardotter". You enter the cottage via the patio to a large hall, and further on from the hallway through the bedroom into the living room and kitchen. There is a dining area, a cozy fireplace and a sofa with a TV. The cottage has two patios with ceilings, perfect to enjoy a cup of freshly brewed coffee. A south-facing patio and one in the north, which you reach from the living room. In one of the bedrooms there is a bunk bed (a family bed) where the bottom bed is 120 cm wide and in the other bedroom there is a single bed. In the living room, there is a double sofa bed. From the hall you also enter the bathroom with wc and shower. Enjoy the silence and serenity here, with a cup of morning coffee or a delicious dinner during the lovely summer evenings on one of the patios. If any day would be chilly, you have the opportunity to make a fire and listen to the cozy crunch from the fireplace while you feel the heat spread in the cottage. During your stay here you can rent the owner's rowing boat which is by the lake Ärr, about 3 km away, for lovely baths and fishing trips. You can explore the shores of the lake and with some luck you can get a perch or pike (fishing license is required). A nice bathing spot with a jumping tower in the lake is Knarrbysjön, about 6 km away. Lake Ärr is part of Dalsland's canal and lake system. If you wish visit places out of here, you can visit “Not Quite” in Fengersfors, where they continuously working on transforming the old mill into a varied excursion. Here the visitors can meet arts and crafts in a different raw factory environment, in the garden, in galleries and even in Café and Bistro. You have about 15 minutes’ drive to the small town of Åmål with cafés, restaurants, shops and a rich selection of culture and leisure activities. A weekend in July is the annual Åmål Blues Festival. For golfers, it is only 20 km to Forsbacka Golf Course. Even during the winter period there are things to do in the area, for example opportunity to visit Åmål ski center, only about 15 km away.
