The location was excellent for the centre of Deauville and the market, The beach and boardwalk were within walking distance of about 15 minutes, The facility of a private parking space was an added bonus, However, with wing mirrors folded in, my Renault Captur just about fit through the narrow passage to the parking area, and it looks as though wider vehicles had scraped the walls, The presence of a lift made transporting luggage much easier, and the security was impressive, The property was well-equipped, and it was pleasant to sit out on the balcony overlooking the street, We were unable to locate the apartment on the 1st Floor despite following the instructions provided by ',Check my guest', which mentioned an ',Igloo', lockbox and code, but not the location of the apartment, The photo of the box was missing, so we didn',t know what we were looking for and could see nothing on any of the doors in the corridor, part of which was quite dark even with the light on, A WhatsApp video call with the staff revealed that they didn',t know where the apartment was either, and two guys arrived by scooter to help us, The box proved to be high up on the door of apartment 13 at the dark end of the corridor, and we had missed it, Once inside, there was a further problem in that the manual for the apartment was on a link provided by ',Check my guest',, but clicking on its photo produced nothing no matter how many times we tried, Therefore, we had no instructions for the oven/,microwave or anything else and, although the apartment was well-equipped, there was no toaster, There should either be a link that works or a hard copy manual,
