The people at the hotell are nice and helpful, The location in the city of Ston, is near a lot of fine places, so you can drive around and come to many places under one hour, The hotell is clean and nice, god beds, The only minus is that we didn't get City view, From our windows in the room, the only thing we could see, was a wall in reconstruction,

The location is good here and the family that run the business are friendly however there are a few things to be aware of, If you dine at their restaurant downstairs you will be offered a 10% discount but it won't be applied to the bill when you get the bill, You will need to remind them to apply it, Secondly, when you get the bill they will charge you a cover charge just for sitting there as well as another charge for bread/sardines/pate or whatever nibbles are put on your table without asking for them, You are charged for this regardless of eating these or not, I didn't experience this at any other restaurants in Croatia, The restaurant is over priced as a result in my opinion, The rooms are newly renovated and nicely appointed but WiFi does not work on the top floor, Also the rooms are not airconditioned as advertised, The common hallway areas are and the rooms are cool but can get stuffy if you don't open the window, The ",city view", was a wall of the building next door, It is a nice place to stay but I would eat elsewhere if I had my time again and would probably avoid the accommodation if it is too hot,

We spent 1 night at Rooms Sorgo Palace as we had to take the day after the ferry to Mljet Island, Staff is very friendly and helpful, They provided us a pass for free parking, Rooms are on top of the restaurant run by the owners so you find all the time someone to welcome you, Breakfast is included and is good, We had to leave early in the morning and the staff told us they could prepare a take away breakfast and so they did it, They are extremely proactive and ready to help, Rooms are spacious, well furnished and 100% clean, Beds are comfortable and rooms are equipped with a mini fridge and a flat screen TV, Our rooms was facing the main street and hence there could have been some noise, but since windows have double glass, we were not bother by the noise coming from the street, It is one of the best accommodation where we have been so far in Croatia, better than other 3 stars hotels where we have been, The staff provided us with a WIFI code but the signal was poor since we were staying at the third floor of the building, The building does not have a lift, so if you have any mobility issues, it is important you highlight it to the staff while booking so that they can give you a room at a lower lever, The staff also helped us with bags and luggage and they brought them at our floor, In terms of location, the accommodation is right in the center of Ston, so if you want to stay in the village you cannot get a better location, From Prapratno ferry harbor (to go to Mljet island) the accommodation is 10 mins by car, so it is a very convenient location as well,
