via a narrow staircase to the bottom you will come to the cosy living area (sitting corner, library, dining table) open kitchen (Aga cooker). The ship is equipped with sun panels. We recently took a short break of two nights on this marvelous old Dutch Barge with our three children aged between 2 and 13 years old. The kids fished off the boat in the canal/river where the barge is moored and had a great time even though they didnt catch many fish! Meals and even going to bed was an adventure for them in the room which has bunk beds in. My wife and myself had the only double bed.....
