Description: Cosy and tastefully furnished holiday flats with Wi-Fi on a shared property with a large courtyard and plenty of seating in the picturesque island town of Malchow. Both flats, each on the ground floor, have a barbecue and a terrace. Lake Malchow is 290 metres away, and you can reach a grassy beach with an idyllic bathing area in one kilometre. There are numerous water sports opportunities in the lake landscape around Malchow. You can book a rowing boat on site by arrangement with the landlord. These are available at the club water about five kilometres away.
Holiday in the dreamy and state-recognised climatic health resort. Malchow is also called the island town, because the oldest part of the town is located on an island in the middle of the lake, which is connected to the mainland by a swing bridge. Today the bridge is not only a technical monument, but also the town centre, a landing stage for passenger ships and a tourist attraction with lots of gastronomy and great flair.
HighLights :
Wifi, bed linen, towels, final cleaning, water included in the rent.
Nearby activities : The varied surroundings in the middle of the Müritz region are always worth exploring. This can be arranged individually: Bicycle tours, hiking or horseback riding excursions and much more. Nature lovers in particular get their money's worth here between all the water and the many forests. But water sports enthusiasts also have plenty of opportunities here, as sailing, diving and pedal boating are just a small selection of the modern sports facilities in this region. Even in winter there is still plenty to discover, for example the ice rink is a popular destination for hockey fans and skaters. And if you don't want to miss the winter feeling in summer, just pay a visit to the summer toboggan run or the monkey park. Of course, the cultural aspects should not be neglected either. For example, the organ museum and its numerous concerts in the monastery church of Malchow Monastery are very popular. A visit to the GDR Museum, which is located in a former cinema, or an excursion to the Malchow swing bridge is also a great addition. This is where the diversity of the island town comes together once again, as culture, water activities and recreation all come together in one popular spot.

Tips Owner: You can get fishing licences for the association's water (19ha), the Krebssee, from the landlord. The Krebssee is just under 2.6 km from the holiday flat and has a very rich fish stock! Pike, perch, pike-perch, catfish and eel are just as good to catch as all the peaceful fish species around carp, roach and gudgeon. The landlord also rents out fishing boats for this club water (subject to availabiility).
