The location facilitates reaching both airports (Pisa and Florence) in a 50 minutes drive travel via the road Florence-Pisa-Livorno. The old local route Via Francigena, which in the Middle Ages connected Rome to Canterbury, is situated at a distance of 1 Km from the house and is easily explored on foot or horseback. Just a 15 minutes drive from here is the train station to reach Siena, Florence and Pisa, much better then going by car. Nearby you can also find a tennis court, golf course, riding stables for horseback riding, bike hire and minibus hire (8 people) with a guide.
