Jeep safaris through the outstretched corkwoods, through almost remote villages and along castle and cloister ruins, which can be arranged by the owners. Within 10min. there is a flight club where unique round flights can be made over the surrounding in 2-pers. ultra light planes (approx. euro 20,- p.p. per 10 for 15min.). It is even possible to water ski and there is a carting lane within 20min..
...Read more close to Evora. The town Montemor-o-Novo is centrally situated, 250km to the Algarve, 100km. to Lisbon and 100km. to Spain. A car is recommended, in case you want to see more of Portugal.

We stayed here in mid-march 2012, which is very early in the holiday-season. Probably due to this, we found the overall maintenance very poor. However, the owners DID clean the beautiful pool especially for the two of us. The quiet surroundings are full of local wildlife (and bulls and livestock, since it is a working farm).
